Living out Acts 1:8 to be witnesses for Christ in all the world, through local, national and international missions to meet both physical and spiritual needs. The River partners with local, domestic and foreign organizations to help accomplish those goals. Below is a list of organizations we support.

Recharge!

RechargeConnect with other moms & their kids (birth-K). This group meets the 1st Wednesday of each month (10:00am-11:30am) for activities, games and crafts. Each meeting has a built-in “recharge” time. Moms listen to a speaker, or join in on topic discussions, while children make crafts, listen to stories, sing songs and play games with caring volunteers.

A non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. EDGE Teen Center

Interfaith Hospitality Network

IHN-webInterfaith is a national organization that assists families with obtaining housing and employment. Area host churches have up to 5 families stay at their church for a week and rotate to area churches, and provide the evening meal, and spend the night with them. The homeless families rotate to different churches until Interfaith obtains their housing voucher. Monthly our church provides hygiene supplies, and our church serves dinner and spends the night 4 times per year at a host church in Monroe. http://www.ihnwc.org

Serve City is a food pantry in Hamilton, Ohio, dedicated to serving the needs of Butler County’s low-income and homeless individuals and families. The River Church serves there on the 4th Saturday of every month. http://www.servecitychosen.org
