Partnering with parents to be a relational community that builds friendships to share Jesus with the kids at The River and with their friends.
In the RiverBank Kids we hope to inspire 3 things in kids:
Wonder: Helping kids realize that they are created to pursue an authentic relationship with their Creator.
Discovery: Helping kids realize that they belong to Jesus and define themselves by what He says.
Passion: Helping kids realize that they exist every day to demonstrate God’s love to a broken world.
Proverbs 22:6 – “Start children off on the way that they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
Our Riverbank Kids Ministry is staffed by dedicated volunteers and led by a staff member who is an expert in kid’s ministry. Each of our volunteers has had a background check to ensure your child’s safety.
Bring your child to the Riverbank Kids check-in station to get started. Your child will receive a tag as will you—and only you can retrieve your child. They will learn Bible stories and values, have fun, sing songs and want to come back!
Thinking of attending The River for the first time? You can download, print, and fill out the New Family Form to make your first check-in quicker. We can’t wait to meet you!
Pre-school (infant-First Grade)
We have a great team of people that are dedicated each Sunday to create an environment especially for your infants through first grade kids. We can’t wait to meet them! We know things are busy at this stage of life and your kids are learning and growing in amazing ways. Our First Look curriculum is engaging, active, and fun. We are ready to teach them that Jesus wants to be their forever friend! Download the free Parent Cue app (Apple and Android) to keep your child learning throughout the week. The app gives you suggestions for teaching your child about God during meal time, drive time, bath time, and bedtime. Make the most of the time that you have with your growing little one!
CONNECT (2nd-5th grade)
We want to help your child connect with Jesus, the Bible, and with their church family and community. Making friendships and building lasting relationships in Connect will help support your child’s developing walk with Christ. Our 252 curriculum is interactive and thought-provoking. Your kids will have a fun time learning about God and singing together in a large group environment then break up into small groups (2nd-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade) to dig deeper into what they learned. Download the Parent Cue app (Apple and Android) for weekly resources that help you continue what your child has learned about in Connect.
